Hey bbs! I'm trying to be more social this year and keep up with folks better, so hopefully I should be around more (except for the summer again, because I'll be marching).

Today was the first day back in classes... Unfortunately it's a great deal of design classes which means 1) lots of expensive manuals (ASTI Steel Manual alone is $200) and 2) forced group work with people whom I do not live with (who are in the same department/classes and is apparently all too convenient).

One of my friends sort of failed out and is being forced to take a break. I feel really bad for her... but at the same time she didn't really deal with it well so I hope she can get her shit together. =(

Trivia tonight with the old high school group! Rather excited, I particularly love trivia with them. And the DJ is great.

No real resolutions for 2010... I suppose I'm just going to continue to try to eat more healthfully, particularly since I got a crockpot for xmas. I should be able to put a little more effort into my cooking, and with classes only in the morning M/W/F I should be able to convince myself to go to the gym more. =)

I'm not really a Hard Resolution type person... That is just too much quantifying for my brain to want to handle. The paperwork alone convinces me it's not worth it.

Funny how peoples' brains work, innit? Oh, and speaking of, rather looking forward to psych 101 tomorrow. =] Always wanted to take it, have never been able to.

Merry xmas bbs! I haven't been around much this fall and it SUX. It's been a shitty semester all around. Lots of high-end drama, lots of me playing hooky because I hate my professors and the worthless shit I have to learn, bleh.

So xmas break I am doing nothing and it is wonderful. WELL, actually, I am shopping for a new laptop because my old one for school (not my backup netbook) is fucking DYING. AGAIN. And guess what? It's the goddamn motherboard again. FOR THE THIRD TIME. So, if I *could* get a replacement, which I can't, or if I can would exceed the cost of a new computer, it would be the fourth motherboard on that damn pile of shit.

So instead I am looking at some sexy motherfuckers with things like 500GB hard drives (!) and core i7 which idfk exactly what that means only that it's FAST AS FUCK and I like that. And they all seem to come with Windows 7 which I don't give a fuck about, honestly.

Anyone use Windows 7? I'd like to know how it compares to XP since that's what I know how to use.

Also, the first thing I will do when I get it is turn off the damn transparency. Bleh. Waste of memory.
